Repair of Semiconductor Leads Production floors often have fallout from the assembly line of semiconductors with damaged leads.  Perhaps the units were mishandled by the pick-and-place equipment, or fell from the loading-tube incorrectly.  To avoid going all the way back through the purchasing cycle for replacement chips, these damaged leads can often be repaired.  Most likely, they have been bent out of shape but not structurally damaged.  OX3 performs these repairs painstakingly by hand with delicate instruments under very large magnification lamps.  Our work is inspected 100% for coplanarity after repair and returned to the customer on tape or in trays.
